Children ages 8-13 are invited to join us on Tuesday, August 6 at 10am, to build their own watershed model. Using recycled materials, participants will get creative building the hills and valleys of a watershed landscape, and learn how water moves through the watershed. They'll get their hands wet as they use spray bottles to "rain" on their models and problem-solve how to keep our water clean. This program will be led by Kathryn Parent of the DCR Division of Water Supply and Protection.
Registration is required and begins 7/30.
Please note: We will gladly hold your spot for 10 minutes past the scheduled start time of the program, after that, your spot may be given to someone who is waiting. Please plan your arrival accordingly.
Sponsored by the Leominster Public Library in conjunction with the DCR Division of Water Supply Protection.
