2020 commemorated the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment. The struggle didn’t start with the Seneca Falls Woman’s Rights Convention in 1848. It started decades before with women fighting on all fronts for their equality.

Hear excerpts from primary source documents honoring the women who worked tirelessly to earn the VOTE and other rights for women.

The program is followed by a talk back with Lynne McKenney Lydick. Free and open to the public with no registration required.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Leominster Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
