"Soap Attack!" Soap Making with Garine Arakelian of Kulina Folk Art!
Wednesday, July 82:00—3:00 PMChildren's Program Room 1st FloorLeominster Public Library30 West Street , LEOMINSTER, MA, 01453

Children ages 8-12 and their caregivers are welcome to join us on Wednesday, July 8 at 2pm.
Join us and unleash your creativity as you craft your very own unique glycerin based soap creation. There's no lye exposure involved in this process, as we use alternative soap making techniques. You'll have the chance to infuse your soap with vibrant colors, enchanting glitters, and delightful scents. Not to mention, we'll be embedding colorful shark toys and adorning the tops with beautiful white soap curls, creating a wave-like effect. At the end of the workshop, you'll take home your very own handmade soap, weighing approximately 3 oz., complete with a playful 2” rubber shark toy. The soap can be easily removed from the mold the following day, allowing you to indulge in its luxurious lather right away. With adult participation required with each child under the age of 12, this is a bonding experience like no other.
This is not a drop-off class. Adult participation is required with each child under the age of 12. Melted soap is hot, guardians of participants under 10 must sign a “safety awareness form” before the SOAP MAKING workshop starts. No one under the age of 8 will be allowed in the room during workshops, only the registered participants. Program starts promptly, no admission is allowed after instructions are given.
Registration is required and begins 7/1. Please only register the names of the children attending.
Please note: We will gladly hold your spot for 10 minutes past the scheduled start time of the program, after that, your spot may be given to someone who is waiting. Please plan your arrival accordingly.
