Pointillism Painting with Local Artist Jen Niles!

Monday, July 112:00—4:00 PMChildren's Program Room 1st FloorLeominster Public Library30 West Street , LEOMINSTER, MA, 01453

Kids ages 8-13 are invited to join us on Monday, July 11 from 2-4pm for a Pointillism painting workshop. Participants will create a cheerful sunflower using the impressionist art technique known as “pointillism.” “This method was popularized by 19th century artists Georges Seurat and Paul Signac, among others. With pointillism, the paint is applied in small dashes or dots and the eye blends the colors instead of blending them ahead of time on the palette. The result can be a bright and vibrant painting.”

Registration is required and begins 7/5.

Sponsored by the Marcia W. O'Donnell Art Activities Fund.
