Children ages 8-12 are invited to join us on Thursday, February 23 at 10am to learn all about owls with  with Laurie Nehring, a local naturalist. Kids will learn the many interesting characteristics of owls through hands-on experience and a brief presentation. Each child will have the opportunity to dissect their own owl pellet and discover the eating habits of these beautiful nocturnal birds. There is a lot to see in these pellets since owls typically swallow their food whole! They will also learn about the eating habits of birds of prey. Don't miss this engaging program!

Registration is required and begins 2/16.

This program has applied for support from the Leominster Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, and is also supported by the North County Land Trust in conjunction with the Leominster Public Library.
