Tweens ages 10-12 can join Artist and Metalsmith Heather Beck on Thursday, April 18 from 10-11:30 am to make a copper bookmark. Learn about the structure of copper and how to create drawings in metal and use letter stamps to create textures and words so that your bookmark can reflect your personal style and interests. Bookmarks will have a hole drilled in them for a string or ribbon, and will also be put into a sulphur dip to blacken recessed areas and make the texture pop. 

Please note, participants must be at least 10 years old to attend this workshop. Registration is required and begins on April 11.

We will gladly hold your spot for 10 minutes past the scheduled start time of the program, after that, your spot may be given to someone who is waiting. Please plan your arrival accordingly.
