LUK, Inc.’s Community group has organized an event for young people in North Central Massachusetts ages 9-17 to come and celebrate Black History Month. The event will include:
Presentations from youth leaders across the region;
A collaborative quilt project - youth will research and write about their favorite inspiring Black figure from history, the group will put their blocks together to make a “quilt” or artistic bulletin board showing all their historical figures!
Speakers will begin at 1pm; drop in program.
