Tween Craft Afternoon: Learn Macrame!

Saturday, March 233:00—4:00 PMChildren's Program Room 1st FloorLeominster Public Library30 West Street , LEOMINSTER, MA, 01453

Tweens ages 9-12 are welcome to come to the Dr. Martin T. Feldman Children's Room on Saturday, March 23 at 3 pm to learn the craft of macrame! Popular in the 1970s, this textile art is making a comeback. By using a series of simple knots, you can make a bracelet or key chain from macrame cord, and embellish it with beads. Once you've learned the basics, there's lots of options for future projects including plant holders and wall hangings.

Registration is required and begins on March 16.

Please note: We will gladly hold your spot for 10 minutes past the scheduled start time of the program, after that, your spot may be given to someone who is waiting. Please plan your arrival accordingly.
